''Hwabyung'' (,), literally "fire illness", is a mental illness|mental disorder which is said to be peculiar to Koreans, typically elderly women. The illness manifests as one or more of a wide range of physical symptoms, in response to an emotional disturbance, perhaps brought about by stress, such as might result from troublesome interpersonal relationships or life crises. Cultural tradition requires that Koreans (and especially women) refrain from openly expressing powerful emotions, and it is believed that Hwabyung might be related to the internalization of anger.Sufferers might report such symptoms as; a heavy feeling in the chest, perceived abdominal mass (previously thought to define the illness, but now believed to be untypical), sleeplessness, hot flushes, cold flushes and blurred vision.Sufferers might also demonstrate typical neurotic symptoms such as anxiety states, depression and obsessive-compulsiveness, as well as
anorexia, expressions of hatred, shame, paranoia or fearfulness,
destructive impulsiveness, absent mindedness and irritability.Western doctors are likely to diagnose stress reaction and depression.It is thought that Hwabyung might serve to provide sufferers with a way to conceptualize and resolve emotional distress through somatization.It is called ''Ul-hwa-byeong''() in South Korea. It was registered in the psychiatry department society in the United States as one of the Culture-bound syndromes in 1996.

Yakitori (焼き鳥, やきとり), lit. ''grilled chicken'', is a Japanese cuisine|Japanese type of chicken kebab. Also known as ''kushiyaki'' (串焼、くしやき), lit. ''skewer grill''.Traditional yakitori consists only of various chicken parts and vegetables, but in modern usage refers to any sort of beef, pork, fish, seafood or vegetable kebab, which get skewered on skewers named kushi. Yakitori is typically served with salt or ''tare'' sauce, which is basically made up of mirin, sweet sake, soy sauce and sugar. The sauce is applied on the skewered meat and is grilled till delicately cooked and is served with the tare sauce as a dip.Yakitori is a very popular dish in Japan and throughout Asia. In Japan, many working people grab a yakitori lunch box from yakitori stalls on the way home from work.

An amphora is a type of ceramic vase with two handles, used for the transportation and storage of perishable goods and more rarely as containers for the ashes of the dead or as prize awards. What a piece of junk this receiver is!The picture quality on non-HD programming is mediocre at best although the HD picture is amazing.The problem is that only a handful of shows are in HD on DirecTV.The first problem I had was when the analog receiver went out so I could no longer watch cable or traditional over the air broadcasts.The receiver soon began to shut itself off for no reason.After it would shut itself off, it would need to be fully reprogrammed. Now it has frozen on and you cannot shut it off, change channels or work the receiver with the remote or directly on the box.The manufacturer told me to unplug it and plug it back in after 15 minutes.Still frozen.If I had not had it for 5 months already, I would have tried to return it and get a Sony.

Affecting approximately 1 in 3000 births, the disease is marked by limited range of motion in one or more major joints in the human body. In the most severe cases, almost every joint in the body is affected; more typically, only a subset of joints are affected (e.g. those in the arms, or those in the hips and legs).Arthrogryposis is typically congenital, non-hereditary, with no known specific cause. While there is no cure, treatment options include splinting of affected joints, physical therapy to improve flexion and range of motion, and surgery to help reposition severely affected joints and limbs. Those not severely afflicted typically live relatively normal lives, adapting to specific situations as required by the patient's particular symptoms.

Well... it's not that easy to add something significant to the other reviews as I share very similar feelings with all peopleloving this album. I found this vinyl, earmarked as "second choice", in a clearance shop in the periphery of Rome, Italy in spring 1990, paying some $3 for it (!!!),and since then it became one of my favourite albums. Were it not worth listening for the superb renditions of Susanne Vega or Sin??ad O'Connor, it is just amazing to hear Michael Stipe doing backing vocals in "Little April Shower" or discover Bill Frisell and Wayne Horvitz performing in the opening medley and two more tracks. Were it only one reason to own this album, it would be the Tom Waits track, that with the parallel Brecht version in "Lost in the stars" (the 1985 album dedicated to Kurt Weill) are absolutely necessary to be able to own the complete Tom Waits hell collection. Last but not least, it's the eclectic producer Hal Willner that has to be credited for this incredible, everla! sting music that unveils the very nature of disney world. It's very good news that this album is available in cd, I would have never believed. Quality wins at the end.

''Epigaea'' is a genus of two species of flowering plants in the Ericaceae. They are small creeping shrubs growing to 10-20 cm tall, forming large patches. The leaf|leaves are evergreen, alternate, simple, entire, and 2-10 cm long. The flowers are small, white or pink, with a five-lobed tubular corolla, produced in mid spring. The fruit is a dry capsule with numerous small seeds.There are two species:
*''Epigaea asiatica'' (Iwanashi). Japan. Leaves with an acutely pointed apex.
*''Epigaea repens'' (Mayflower or Trailing Arbutus). Eastern North America. Leaves with a rounded or bluntly pointed apex.''E. repens'' is listed as an endangered species in some U.S. states.

Symbolism


The name Mayflower was in tradition given to ''E. repens'' by the Pilgrim Fathers after their ship the ''Mayflower''; the plant was abundant where the ship landed at Plymouth Rock, Massachusetts. For this reason, it was chosen to be the list of U.S. state flowers|state flower of Massachusetts. It is also the List of Canadian provincial and territorial symbols|provincial flower of Nova Scotia. The name Trailing Arbutus reflects its similarity to the trees in the related genus ''Arbutus'', while being much smaller and prostrate on the ground.

Cultivation and uses


Both species are grown as ornamental plants in rockery|rockeries, where they require moist, acidic soil. A hybrid between the two species ''Epigaea x intertexta'' has also been developed for garden planting.

This album is full of killer guitar hooks that are catchy yet brutally heavy. Phil Anselmo prefers screaming over singing on this album and it fits the heaviness perfectly. The rest of the band lock into some serious grooves that will make you bang your head.Though the whole album rules, I recommend "The Introvert", "4 Songs", "The Alkoholik" and "Everybody hates everyone". If your a fan of dark,angry and creepy heavy metal, buy this album now. Your ears will love it. It's still getting heavy rotation in my stereo.

Tie rods are used for airplane structures and in steel structures such as bridges, industrial buildings, tanks, towers and crane (machine)|cranes. Tie rods known as sag rods are sometimes used in connection with purlins to take the component of the loads which is parallel to the roof.The working strength of a tie rod is the product of the allowable working stress and the minimum cross-sectional area.
If threads are cut into a cylinder|cylindrical rod, that minimum area occurs at the root of the thread.
Often rods are upset (made thicker at the ends) -- then the tie rod does not become weaker when threads are cut into it.Tie rods are connected at the ends in various ways, but it is desirable that the strength of the connection should be at least equal to the strength of the rod. The ends may be threaded and passed through drilled holes or shackles and retained by Nut (hardware) | nuts screwed on the ends. If the ends are threaded right- and left-hand the length between points of loading may be altered. This furnishes a second method for prestressing the rod at will by turning it in the nuts so that the length will be changed. A turnbuckle will accomplish the same purpose. The ends may also be swaged to receive a fitting which is connected to the supports. Another way of making end connections is to forge an eye or hook on the rod.The spokes of bicycle wheels are tie rods.A famous incident involving tie rods is the Hyatt Regency walkway collapse in Kansas City, Missouri, on ! July 17, 1981. The hotel had a large atrium with three walkways crossing it suspended from tie rods.
